My Adobe isn't showing the transition area..

Post by AgentONea1 » Fri Apr 25, 2003 4:30 pm

I can't put a transition into the video at all. I had to reformat my computer, so I reinstalled Adobe, and now the A/B transition thing is gone. I have Video 1 and 2, but no transition area in between.

Ack, help please.

Click on the menu called :

Windows|Workspace|A / B Editing.

The tracks are hidden in some workspace setups.

Adobe is pissing me off.. It's probably my computer though. I need to take it to Gateway so they can fix it AGAIN.

Dude-

Go get a Dell.
But, if you have the money, get a Sony Vaio.
(If you REALLY have the money, a G4)

However, I'm having a similar problem.
I editted and added transitions and speed changes to a project using Premiere 5.1. I upgraded in the middle of the project to 6.0 and tried to render, but would not take the transistions or speed changes. It's like the effects are not there, but they are shown on the timeline.

What should I do?

Erm..nearly ALL pre-built PCs suck. They're overpriced and include default options.

As for the problem you're having Liv, try pressing "Enter".

Hey, NDW. Correction, shouldnt you say ALL pre built name brands suck? :P Coz they do.... :P Hes right man, pre built PC's arent worth the money or effort. And you can build a better system for alot less anyway.

No, he shouldn't because they don't ALL suck.Judging by benchmarks alone, Dell's are a lot more powerful than the latest Mac G4's and that's saying quite a bit.

Also, Alienware computers are great.

Thats great, but name brands have alot of flaws, some of them are hard or near on impossible to upgrade, sometimes you are limited to a certain set of components, things like that. Plus, if you build your own system like I did, you know whats going into it, unlike a name brand system.
