Video capture
I want to record video from one of my computer games. I know how one could capture video from an outside source like a PS2 but how could I go about recording a game that is on my computer?

This should be pretty easy, but I haven't exactly been successful in doin' it yet.. eh heh.
In theory, though:
1) Insert the game disc into ur cd drive.
2) "Explore" the disc.
3) Take whatever video files you want and copy n' paste to a folder.
I haven't been able to find any movie files from my games yet.. but this should work.. I think that the file extensions aren't really .avi, but more likely something else.
I only know about rippin' PS1 gamez, so sorry if this doesn't help.

Hook the system up to your comp and record... even my trash computer can do that..jonmartensen wrote:Really, what I wanted was capture of in-game play, not pre-rendered files. That's what has me confuzzled over how to get the footage.
