Dvd Decrypter question.

Post by Vanity » Sun Sep 21, 2008 9:49 pm

hey guys i wanted to, when your ripping your vobs. does the intro text of your anime automatically not be there or do you have to do something to ripp the right vob. without text in your anime's opening?

Example: i was ripping Tenjho tenge and i noticed that it has the text in the opening. i wanted to know how do go on about looking on my dvd decrypter to ripp the right vob. that doesn't have text on the opening of my anime.

Well, it should say the time of the .vob you're ripping. So for example, on my FLCL DVDs. There is a textless ending on the disc. The original FLCL opening is a little over 1:30. I just ripped the right chapter that was around the same length.

It all depends on if the DVD has a clean opening and ending. Should say on the dvd case if it has them or not. And it will usually be near the end of the file once you send it through DGIndex.
