dvd ripping help
hi, i hope somebody can help me.
i am using dvd decryptor and im to dvd ripper. i have problems in both.
well in dvd decryptor i run the process normally but after i click on decrypt my whole computer goes slow. like when i move my mouse and that arrow thing move it seems to go slow but can still function ( hope that made sense lol) and now it keeps on reading errors on my disk. i used a dvd that my dvd decryptor read properly before but now it doesn't. it reads something improperly in all the dvd's i put in dvd decryptor now.
with im to dvd ripper everytime i load my dvd into the program it freezes my computer for a good 3-5 minutes. and than it comes back. but when i need to click on something it freezes. basically every option i select freezes my computer.
that's about it. if this has been posted before could somebody guide me to it? well i hope you all understood it and hopefully somebody can help me.

Usually when someone asks for system specs here, it's often enough to just include how much RAM you have and what kind of Processor your running, but that is a very detailed list.
By source (I should have been more clear) i meant what is the title of the DVD... we may be on to something where a copy protection scheme has changed from the norm, so i wanted to rule that out if i could.
You seem to have a capable system for handling several things at once so unless you were running several major apps at once you're system should still be able to handle the load.
So, new questions:
Do you run virus/adware scans frequently?
Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling your ripping software?

no, that doesn't really matter.. it's just sometimes you get new discs just released that work on a different copy-protection scheme and the chance is there that the current software won't work with it. In fact that's the reason they'd change it in the first place.
how about the adware/spyware/virus scanning?

I'm really not sure then... Have you installed anything new recently that may be causing a conflict? anything at all.
If not, I'm sure someone else will be by with a better understanding of this software than I have.
