Ripping FF6 CGI movies?

Post by Snap- » Sun Nov 24, 2002 3:35 pm

Been using PSmplay to rip CGI movies from PSX games...
But it doesn't seem to want to open FF6 footage. I don't have a capture card, so the only way i can get the footage is rip it directly from the CD.. anyone have suggestions on what software i should use to rip it?

So in other words, one part of the community is waging war on another part of the community because they take their community seriously enough to want to do so. Then they tell the powerless side to get over the loss cause it's just an online community. I'm glad people make so much sense." -- Tab

I use a Japanese program called PSXMC232. The reason PSMplay can't see the files is because Squaresoft uses some crazy encryption because they have a love affair with their FMVs and don't want people to be ripping them (even if it is for AMVs that act as free advertisements for their repetitive and unoriginal games...but I digress). Dunno what else is out there, but hell, if it ain't broke...
