i'm fixing to buy a firewire capture card ..but whick one should i buy??...which do you use?

please help me

Do you have an editing program allready? Because you can buy Pinnacle Studio DV for about $100-200 and it comes with a very nice firewire capture card. I've got one and have no complaints about it.

The ADS PlatinumDV goes for between $200-$300 and it comes with the full version of Premiere 6.5 including the manual. I got one back when it came with version 6. I haven't used the card itself much, but it seemed to work just fine.
