DVD Ripping . . . . . HELP! PLEASE! NEED SIMPLER DIRECTIONS!

Hello to anyone with enough heart to read my pathetic plee for help! I'm having a little bit of trouble with Ripping DVD's as, simply put, I AM COMPLETELY CONFUSED BY IT! Before anyone says it, I have been to the front page and I have looked at A&E's Technical Guide to All Things Audio and Video . . . . . . . I'm just completely confused by it. Is there any path you can point me down with a blunter way of phrasing the directions? PLEASE! I am in SERIOUS NEED of assistance . . .

You need the following.

-DVDs ( The anime of course )
-DVD drive ( Put the DVD in it)
-DVD ripping program ( Will rip the footage off the DVD, programs such as "smart ripper" and "dvd decrypter" do this)

After that just follow the guide step by step.

Get Gordians knot. Its the easy way. you can get it at doom9.net. Its really simple to use. If you have any problems just ask and I'll try and help you out step by step.

1) Download all necessary software
2) Install
3) Insert DVD in DVD-ROM Drive
4) Open up DVD ripper
5) Select vob files desired to extract
6) Select a directory to save them to
7) Start ripping
