problems with Nero

ok i'm having problems with Nero, it dosent seem to work on my comp. When i installed it, it didnt burn anything i duno why either burning works fine when i use windows media player but when i use that it wont burn my movies on a CD-R disc. So i wanna try Nero but it wont work =S my comp is only a year and a half old could that be the problem? my Nero is pretty old software... does anyone know what might be the problem?

You might need to upgrade to a newer version...I've never had any problems with burning stuff with Nero. Make sure your drivers are up to date too.
