monitor failing POST
ok this has bein pissing me of for over two weeks at least now. my monitor randomly fails POST when i first turn my pc on (i know when it doesnt fail because i hear a loud little beep. oh and, the thing actualy turns on). it fails about 3/4 of the time and well, this realy sucks. i made sure all plugs are pluged in properly and my vga is conected ice and tight (like is should be). still, monitor fails POST, problem pissed me off, badly, alot. anyone got any idea what the hell is going on ?

Um, monitors don't POST, motherboards POST. If you're not POSTing, then something is wrong with your motherboard, not your monitor.
If your monitor doesn't seem to be working, try it with another computer, or try your computer with another monitor. That should tell you if it's the monitor or something in the box.

true moniters dont POST but the vga might be couseing a problem couldnt it?. i also have a similar problem as bum. my lcd dosnt work while my comp is booting then when windows loads up it works fine. its sorta annoying coz if i need to look in the bios i need to get my crt out. i heard that this is becouse lcd's use drivers or something, i dont know if thats correct. but the lcd displays that the signal is out of range during this time. the thing is i cant mess with its settings coz when the signal is out of range i cant get into the options menu. any suggestions.
