Capturing From VHS
I've captured alot of stuff directly from TV, and thats fine but i was wondering how to Capture videos that i have on VHS.

There should be a software controlled setting for 525 ( NTSC ) -or- 625 ( PAL )
which will allow you to capture from your VCR by either YV Cable ( not recomended )
or via the Video and Audio out-s of your VCR to the Composite in of your capture card.
If your Capture Card is out of date, there will be a "jumper" for these two settings 8)

okay im lost im running what to the what now?
Ive got three things
1. a Wall Outlet
2.A Capcard in my Comp
3. a VCR
I need to capture video and i dont know how to do it. Sorry But shit goes in one ear and out the other

This should work...
Take the coax cable from the TV and plug it in to the back of your VCR (the coax cable is the one you should be using to connect from TV to TV tuner) and then put the TV capture software (PowerVCR in my case) to composite or coax, which it should already be at, and channel 3 or 4, then run the VCR.
