It wont work... you'd have to find some way to load the drivers for that adapter on the printer, and even if you could do that, it wouldn't be the right architecture, and the printer wouldn't be able to configure itself as a network share. Your only two options are to connect it to one of your networked computers (already discussed) or buy a print server.
