Anyone with Adobe Premiere Pro help!!!!

Post by scall » Sat Feb 25, 2006 10:20 am

Okay I have finally after so long decided to spend some time to figure out this program. Although it is a little bit complicated I'm finally starting to get it. I basically understand everything except a few things. First I've seen a bunch of people that have used adobe premier to make a bunch of videos play at once. Like one in the middle, left, and right. I see that there is a slot for video 2 and I put a video in there, but then I just have one video playing on top of the other. How do I make two or three play at once. My other quetion is that fading out has been a big part of my music videos before. I'm sure this program has it, but I just can't seem to find this effect or transition. This transition or effect makes the screen fade out to black or white, or how do I even fade from one video clip to the next.

Thanks

If you want two or three clips playing at once and all of them to be visible, you'll have to use the Motion settings (come standard with every clip), perhaps with the help of the Garbage Matte (under the Keying effects).

As for transitioning from one clip to the next, you'll have to line the clips up next to each other on the same video track and drag the transition onto the point where they join up. More on this in the manual/help files.
