Do I need a DVD burner to rip a video and put it on web???

My thing wont rip the DVD but i dont really know if I need a DVD burner??

No. Any DVD-ROM drive will do.

You would need something to copy the dvd. Some include encryption which needs to be breaking of course this sucks but I am a mac user and I use MactheRipper for pc look at versiontracker.com or download.com and look for a dvd ripping program for the pc. Hope this helps you out. Also yes you just need a DVD-ROM drive to do this.
