Problems converting DVD to aviDV in premier 7

Hi when i conver from DVD to aviDV in premier 7 im losing callity and that suck balls and I dont care if the fil whil be bigger I have to disk space like hell

Is there any ather program that convert better then premier or im I dowing somting wrong??????????

Don't use Premiere just to convert files from one format to another. Use something like VirtualDubMod.
