What kind of outputs are on the video card? I have s-video on mine but since you mentioned that your tv doesn't have the composite jacks I'll assume you have a composite video out for the most part. Basically the easist way I've found to get around this is to connect the video card to a VCR with a composite video cable, along with the audio card using a stereo/composite y-adapter. Then hook up the to the VCR via a co-axial cable. The one of the input channels will have the video and audio from the computer.

If you do indeed have an s-video out on your video card you can do the above with this as well.

If you don't have a VCR I recommend the post above this one.

well u could also take the cables u need to connect them by twisting the wiers together and useing some ducktape. i did this with an svideo cable and an rca cable so i could hook up my 9600 to my tv and it worked grate. all i needed was a stake knife and some ducktape.

ok um, sory for this late responce. school started again recently and.....yeah. ive got svideo but the cable is split so thiers also your normal yello (the video in) cable too. and i cant find anywhere to plug the svideo, not om my old crapy tv in my room or my shiny sony flat screen in the lounge. oh and, when i plug the video cable into the sony tv (and nothing els, just the video cable) it works fine . but with my teac tv , it does nothing. hydravision detects the tv but no mater how much tuning i do i cant get any picture from my pc
