Dazzle DVC 150

Ok, im not a n00b to AMV's but i am a n00b to capturing.
I finally (i live in the UK...) got my hands on a dvc 150.

Now the thing is, i need to capture clips from my ps2, yet it wont.period.
When i try to capture it comes up with a black n grey fuzz/lines in the preveiw window.

Any form of help would be greatly appreciated here.
