Dont kill me if this post doesn't belong here.

I first took notice to my computers funny acting when system restore stopped cooperating with me. Over a period of 3-4 weeks, i've been ignoring it, but it was still crapping my computer. Being on aim and playing music and doing other multi-task crap didnt prove to work out so well. Soon i decide (after noticing system files are all fu**ed up) to repair the system files using the system restoration Cd's. So i back up a few things just for emergency (Songs and program files). I did not, however, backup ANY video files except for crappy versions of my videos. So i expected everything to be all hunk dorry. I put in the cd, and after a few hours of messing with it, it says Windows XP was suscessfully installed. INSTALLED?!?! I didnt see anything about a repair!!! So i boot up my computer, and sure enough, at the boot up screen, there are two choices for operating systems. Both having the same name. The one that actually worked was the brand new OS (totally blank). The other operating system selection was the one with all my files on it...and it was completely unaccessable. So after more fiddling i end up with a total of 6 operating system selections on my boot up selection screen. What progress. So i then decide, shit, i'll just reformat, which i did. Everything's fine now except all my movies, anime, and AMV's are all freaking gone. S.O.B. On top of that my brother's user account was not backed up, so he lost everything and went sour on me. (he's only 15) And also i still cant see my secondary drive on my "my computer" folder. The system says its working properly and i tried re-installing it and the drivers. Nothing.

So basically i'm just asking for any suggestions on how to get my secondary drive viewable on my "my computer" (i actually cant access it at all).

Thanks for any feedback.
