Alright you hardware know-it-all's, I'm doing some research on finding the best MPEG-2 video card for next year's AKON 19. We're constantly trying to upgrade our rig and from what I've learned talking to other con organizers, a Netstream Mpeg decoder playback card seems the cheapest and most reliable for long-term playback. But does anybody use something different? Where can I go to buy them & learn more?
Anything you can offer to help us out will be most appreciative.
What's the best Mpeg decoder playback card?

These devices are relatively new on the market. I've seen models other than the ones made for Metal Gear.
Galaxy Metal Gear Tvisto (There's also a version for laptop drives.)

If review 2 is correct - and the firmware has not been changed since last year - then a large drawback is the lack of playlist capability.
