I've been out of the loop for quite some time (around 6 years). I'm currently having issues with two projects of mine. The first is an amv I just finished cutting up. The latter is a documentary which I will not be speaking of in this post (similar issues though).
Source footage used for my amv was converted to huffyuv for editing which was fine. Problem arises after trying to export the final product. When attempting to export from premiere(pro cs4) using the same huffyuv codec i get no video feedback when in VLC. Audio continues to play perfectly fine though. Any ideas as to what my problem could be here or possibly other solutions to get around this wall?
Encoding issue....conflicting codecs maybe?

Why does it matter what VLC's playback is like? All that you need to worry about is whether VDub and/or AviSynth can open it so you can convert to whatever distribution format you want to use. Also, VLC can't 'conflict' with anything because it's neither VFW nor DirectShow based; it's entirely self-contained.
That granted, maybe Premiere's export was borked, in which case you want to take a closer look at either Premiere or how you prepared your footage (preferably both). If it really is something about VLC, then it's a problem with VLC.
