Okay, so I've got this lovely comedy amv I want to enter in a contest, but according to the rules I need the move filed to be an "encoded MPEG-2". I tried reading guides I found online but they only confused me.
Is encoding the same thing as saving as an mpeg-2? ie. if I save it as an mpeg, does that mean it's set up correctly and is 'encoded' upon being saved as that file?
I use Adobe Premiere Pro CS3 by the way.
