Lagarith Lossless Codec encoding on sony vegas 7 help

what setting should i use to encode a avi video with Lagarith Lossless Codec in high quality. when ever i encode my 53 second video the sound does not match up and the video is very large, about 400 MB.

The file should be very large. Don't try playing the lagarith file itself to see if the audio matches up, its not designed for playback. Just feed it on through to whatever you are going to encode in, then see how the audio matches up then.
