Compression trouble with VDub...

Compression trouble with VDub...
I recently finished a new amv,and rendered as AVI,with an Uncompressed Template,when i imported it in VDub i went and added certain scripts,etc.,then i went to video>>compression...,then i selected the bottom selection(XviD MPEG-4 Codec),and then i click "ok",and it does not start compressing,it dosent do anything after i selected "ok"...what should i do? =o

Virtual Dub was designed to work without scripts ( not that it matters )
File > Open > (click)
Video > full process > compression > (click)
Audio > full process > compression > (click)
File > save as > (click)
