VirtualDubMod video compression?

Post by Mazena » Thu Apr 05, 2007 2:38 pm

Well, someone told me that it's good to compress XviD videos to Lagarith so I could use them on Sony Vegas. In the end I just suck at it I guess. When I compress the video with Lagarith, it becomes like 600Mb and it's just like 3mins... I tried with DivX codec and that worked out normally for the size, but the image quality suffered a lot.

Now, I don't need a perfect video quality, but something a bit better would be great :/ Someone give me some hints as to what to use to compress videos and how.

I would greatly appreciate it <3

Ok, thanks :) I think I'll just try to get along with the huge files then. Not that I wouldn't have space for them, just that I was expecting them to be smaller.
