Zarx264gui 1.0 Error

Post by Kazemon15 » Sun Apr 20, 2008 7:45 pm

I'm trying to import an avisynth script into Zarx264gui 1.0 to make my final project in MP4 format...but I keep getting an error that says "External Component has thrown an exception."

It's my first time trying to compress a file to MP4 format. I usually just go with AVI, but this video in HQ is 108 MB. Any lower and the quality suffers. And yes, I compressed audio too, it's still a giant file size.

Any ideas what it means? Thanks.

Can you get a screenshot of any error messages that appear (press print screen key on your keyboard, then go in any image editing app and go to the edit menu and click paste) and also let me know EXACTLY when they occur, for instance if its right after you click a button, or right after a new window pops up, or whatever.

Does your avs script actually work if you load it into virtualdub or something?

It sounds like the problem isn't with zarx264gui then. You may want to try reinstalling avisynth.
