problem compressing my mp3 to an avi file
ok, i was trying to follow this guide
http://www.animemusicvideos.org/guides/ ... o.html#acm
and i did the using lameACM to compress my audio since for some reason BeSweet wont work on my computer. So i followed all the directions and then saved the file but it spit out a huge file that was about 2 gigs in size. I had used my video after Xvid compression which was only about 70 megs in size and audio i had exported according to the guides as well. why is the avi file so huge after the audio is supposed to be compressed?

well ive done it over and over again and the same results keep popping up
first i load the avi file (132 megs) into virtualdubmod then i go to video and direct stream copy
then i go to to streams and stream list and add the music file i want to combine (it's a wav file btw, exported from adobe primiere pro 2.0).
i then right click on it and select full processing mode and then go to compression on it and select Lame MP3 and i just went with 44100 Hz 160 kbs CBR, Stereo 20kb/s, clicked ok on every things and went to save as under file. i save the avi file and get a nice 2 gig video
i wonder if my virtualdubmod is broken or something, i cant do 2nd passes for Xvid compressions either, they worked on my old computer but i have a new vista one so maybe the program doesnt work on it properly

.. you may have to get one of the newer Virtual Dub's instead of MOD. >_<
.. my Vista 64 Ultimate popped-up a screen wanting to "retro-the-Operating-System" to use this version of Virtual Dub MOD .. I never even heard of a "Retro Emulator" before and "VU64 popped it up" like it knew that Vista needed THIS option!
.. so far, 11 programs have made Vista PoP-Up the Retro-Emulator; I'm not comfortable with Emulators, but so far it is working on my system ^_^
