Saving video file?

When i export a project should i keep the framerate the same as the clips im using or does it even matter

Yes,when exporting you must keep all settings the same as the ones you started with.

Exporting fps different from which you started with,will make all of your sync go waste. But - you may change fps after you've rendered your vid from editing program(good thing that Scintilla reminded me that ^^').
