Text only DVD Menu

Post by cholinms » Mon Nov 20, 2006 2:55 am

I'm hoping someone here will have an idea. I'm looking for a DVD burning program that supports text only menus.I've looked through everything that comes up with a Google search and asked around aty all the computer stores in Colorado Springs. Every thing that I looked at supports picture icons, video icons, and text, but I cann't find any program that has text only DVD menus.

I currently have Nero Ultimate 6. I'm wanting to put all of the videos that I've downloaded onto a playable DVD without having 12 pages of picture icons. I just want to have my background picture with a list of selectable video titles to scroll throu.

I want to thank everyone in advance for any help you can give me

Try TMPGEnc DVD Author. Download the Trial version and give it a spin.

I've also used Sony DVD Architect which is usually bundled with Vegas, but can be purchased separately (or at least it could be). It's MUCH more powerful, but also more complicated, which makes it less easy to use for making a quick and dirty DVD. There is a Trial of the home version, DVD Architect Studio available for download.
Having trouble playing back videos? I recommend: Image

Seconded. There are a couple menu configurations that are simple lists (up to 16 per page, IIRC), even though I usually opt for the 4-items-per-page vertical table layout.
