Programs for Windows 98?
I wasn't going to post, but me and the search were not getting along.
I have a very, very old computer, but I really want to make AMVs. MY friends had WMM, but I onlt get to use his computer for about 3-4 hours on weekend. He also has a brand new laptop with XP.
So, what I'm trying to say is: Please help me find something that can atleast run with 98. Just even if I can smack clips around. I just put some of my boxsets on my computer and Excel Excel is begging for me to make an Excel Saga AMV.

There's no edit button except in a couple of forums. This isn't one of them.
Magix Movie Edit Pro 2004 runs on Win 98, and while it'll do a lot more than whack your clips together it can be a little hard to find. Amazon.com has one, and the system requirements are listed there as well.

Wow, thanks! It looks nice and it's cheap so I don't have to worry about having to spend too much.Melanchthon wrote:There's no edit button except in a couple of forums. This isn't one of them.

thats what OS i started using premiere on... Also... you might be able to run win NT or 2000, they might be more stable... although knowing your specs might help us a bit more... cause if your running less then 64 megs of ram.. it might be difficult...Zarxrax wrote:Also, Adobe Premiere 6.5 or 6.0 will run in win98.
