Can anyone help me?

I'm still pretty new at making the videos and could use a little help.
I was wanting too keep the DVD's audio for a part in my video,but when I convert my files all the audio dissapears,and I have no options to keep it.
Can you tell me
1.what program I should use
or 2.
what I'm doing wrong/missing

(I currently just use DGIndex,then VFAPIconv to convert them into usable clips.)

You can decrypt the vob files with DVD decrypter then open them in virtualdub mod. You should be able to get the audio from them that way.
