im planing on making a amv and i cant find any RAWs for it,now i own the dvd to it,and i have a backup of it on my computer,now if i turn the audio into japanese w/o subs can i use that in an amv?ps: the anime is scryed or s.CRY.ed....

so you want the audio from the dvd?

its shouldn't matter what language is spoken in audio files for them to work

If you already own the DVD, then just rip the disk as mentioned in the guides. If for some weird reason you need the audio (say to include some sound effects for a particular section) then just rip the audio as well. I suggest just making your own subtitles instead of trying to use existing ones.

well actually i have the dvd eps on my comp... i could just split the video from the audio and use the video

...lol um i had to download it cuz unfortunately i have no means of ripping a dvd at this time...

IF you can afford to buy a DVD, then you can afford a DVD drive, for 17.00 or 23.00 for a full on DVD burner.

But yeah, in any case take virtualdub mod and save the sound out as a .wav file. That should answer your original question.
