Ripping all music from DDRMAX2?

Post by yokken » Fri Jul 28, 2006 6:50 pm

Hey all. I'm new, yeah, whatever.

I was just wondering, how might I rip all of the music/data/steps/whatever from my DDRMAX2 disc? I already have the ISO, I ripped it with a nice program I have. I'm not releasing any of the things I may extract or anything, so there's no legality issues unless I use a program that's illegal. ANYWAY-

Can someone please tell me how do make all the information from my almost-2-gigabyte-DDRMAX2-ISO readable and the music playable? Thank you...

Why go through all that when you can get StepMania sim-packs for every DDR mix ever made + 1000s of other songs with homebrew steps?

Because:

1. takes too long to download it all
2. my ddrmax2 is the GAME DISC, not the japanese arcade version. i want the songs that are on the game, not the arcade.
3. i have all 8 mixes and theyre all japanese ones. theyre the only ones i can find. japanese arcade mixes. -_-

They have the PSX song files on there, too. Be careful, though. This is kind of a gray area as far as forum rules go, now isn't it.

And for future refrence: <nerd> Japanese PSX DDR = Arcade DDR </nerd>
