I had downloaded the 2nd pirates of the carribean movie trailer and I want to make a Trailer spoof, but I don't know how to get it into premier. Premier doesn't seem to support the file format though. Does anyone know how I can convert the file, where I can download a codec that can use it, find a compatible version of the same trailer or maybe even send me a compatible version of the file.
The video I want to use can be found at http://www.totaleclips.com/Player/Bounc ... ndorid=566
I need help converting a video into usable audio

I've pointed several other people to this thread before. Following Milkmandan's advice, I assume, should help you with your issue. Good luck.
I hope Milkmandan doesnt' mind me pointing to this thread so often...

Wow, his technique is really impressive but I'm having problems using it. I've tried using the Mp3MyMp3 2.0 program I downloaded of the net. When I try and select the audio source the program sends me the warning "SelectSource:UnknownSource". The only source that does work is the "| F Green" which I assume stands for Front green. The problem is idk where this is on my computer and I know even less about how to use it. I've also had problems making my Microphone work when talking online. Any suggestions on how to fix this? Is the problem my computer, the program or both?

I'm not familiar with that program, so I can't really help you there. It kinda sounds like it might be a problem relating to your sound cards drivers, that'd be my first guess but I'm still not certain. But I would suggest trying a program called Audacity. It works very well and has a fairly simple interface. Don't know if this will help or not, but mine works on the Stereo Mix input and I have the input volume at about 0.2. Hope Audacity works for you, good luck.infernal0321 wrote:Wow, his technique is really impressive but I'm having problems using it. I've tried using the Mp3MyMp3 2.0 program I downloaded of the net.
