Oh my, this is a lazy question...
Okay, for those of you who have seen Serial Experiments Lain... there are these scenes where, instead of doing a voiceover of "thought" phrases, there are these screens of floating, water-like colors with Japanese text embedded in them. They were used a lot for things like Chisa's unspoken lines: "I don't need to stay in a place like this," and "Why you should do that... is something you must decide for yourself."
Now, if you know what I'm talking about... does anyone have any clue how the heck that animation was done??? The reason I'm asking is, I wanted to use those text screens for a few lines in my video, but I don't want the original subtitled text. I wanted to use my own lines. In Japanese. Yes, I'm being a disgusting perfectionist. But since a lot of the effects in Lain appear to be things I can reproduce, like the weird hums and audio glitches, I thought I'd take a chance re-animating the text screens.
Any suggestions?
