.avi exporting on Premiere

when i export my video (fully .avis) it doesnt play video in WM player or DiVx. is there something im doin wrong?

What codec are you using to export? If it's HuffYuv or DivX, they should be able to be read by WMP.

im using divx 5.0.2 or something like that

Hmmm... exporting the AVI from Premiere with DivX 5.0...

I honestly have no idea why it isn't working in Windows Media Player. Possibly try uninstalling DivX 5 and then re-installing it?

Beyond that, I have no clue. Sorry.

Try exporting with huffYUV(available in the AMVapp pack in Video Software Help). Then user virtualdub or follow the guides(link below my sig) to convert it to DivX. When exporting for web distro you must compress both the Video and the Audio. Premiere doesn't allow you to choose a very good audio compressor(MP3 or maybe OGG).
