Just a note:
If anyone DOES submit scripts, please follow the style guide. I've refrained from deleting pages that don't in the hope that someone with the necessary sources will fix them, but so far that hasn't happened.

What is preventing you people from writing scripts, or at least providing initial work? Laziness? Lack of time? It certainly can't be lack of knowledge, especially when the AVISynth scripting manual and doom9 forums are only milliseconds away.
(My excuse? I don't have RaxXephon or Elfen Lied.)
I'll emphasize, again, the point that anyone can contribute to the thing. If you did something stupid, chances are someone will point it out. That's fine. Don't take it personally and fix it or discuss the point.

Your right.. what's the point in what there doing providing scripts at amvwiki.. it's just giving people an excuse to be lazy.trythil wrote:What is preventing you people from writing scripts, or at least providing initial work? I know what your getting at, this is a sign of lazyness. I have got it to look pretty good, but I want it to look the best it can be, well at least close to it, or as good as I've seen in koops vid, pwolf vids using it as a source, etc.. I think that may be one of the goals of helping people with scripts at amvwiki.. so the masters of scripting and those who have had a lot of practice with it could share the source that worked best for them.

Besides what x_rex30 stated above, I'd also like to state that I'm a newb when it comes to making scripts. (I know it's not an excuse for not-making them, or at least trying to) I've already tried to read the AVISynth manual and I personally still can't get a nice job on the scripts, not yet.trythil wrote:What is preventing you people from writing scripts, or at least providing initial work? And quoting what x_rex30 posted above, As long as I know, The AMVWiki was made to help people like us when dealing with this kind of problems (And of course, our contribution to the site itself), since I think that's one of the main reasons it was made for. Of course I'm not saying I'm not going to learn how to make scripts, or anything like that, but right now I'd like to get some help from people who actually have experience on this.
