SVCD is Super Video CD, which, although by many DVD players, isn't something you want to put on a DVD.

If you want to make a DVD of AMVs your best bet is to just encode to DVD-spec MPEG-2 program streams (the specifications are all over the place so I'm not going to repeat them here -- just Google it) and use a DVD authoring program to set the layout and such.

so you want to take a viode file you have and put them on DVD?
ok

this is what you do

1. Get your video done
2. Get TMPGEnc, (just buy it, search this forum or other forums or google to learn how ot use it) and/or convert ur video to MPEG-2
3. ALL DVD video is encoded in MPEG-2
4. Finish compression into MPEG-2
5. Author your DVD using either TMPGEnc DVD AUthor, or Nero DVD AUthoring program or whatever.
6. If you used nero, you can short cut step 7 and just go ahead and author it, and burn it.
7. TMPGEnc will create 2 folders, VIDEO_TS AND AUDIO_TS, use DVD Shrink to burn the folders on to a DVD. OR if you dont have nero..install DVD Decrypter and use it to burn to DVD.
