I was hesitant to ask but it seems around here just about anything's possible. I have a movie with very good quality (stupid subtitles) that I want to use. But the stupid thing is in Real Player and Windows Movie Maker doesn't import ram files.
1) Is there a way around this? or
2)Is there another movie making program that does and I can get?
I've got a really neat project in mind, but I need this help. Thanks is advance.

I have DVD's. But I've asked how to use DVD in Windows Movie Maker and I've read the guides. One guide leads to another and then that one has five hundred things you have to download in order for it to work, then you have to go to yet another guide. And they all...excuse me...confuse the hell out of me. So I'll just stick to my second rate footage for now. Thanks for the website! I just wish it didn't take four hours for it to convert the files. But I can wait...sorry if I sounded rude, I'm tired and college is going to kill me but I'm getting off subject.........

I'm going to assume you're referring to EADFAG, in which case you only have to download:prettysoldiersailormoon wrote:I have DVD's. That's it. The AMVapp contains DVD Decrypter, DGIndex, AVISynth, VirtualDubMod (I think), and all necessary codecs, plugins, and helper scripts.
As for the confusion issue... can't really help you there, other than to suggest re-reading. I've said it before and I don't mind saying it again: EADFAG is really a great resource for learning about digital video, if you take the time to read all of the theory sections (even for those who have no prior knowledge of digital video -- the "F" does stand for "Friendly", you know; and I speak from personal experience: I learned almost everything I know about digital video from those guides). And I tried to make my own guide as friendly as possible while still covering all the necessary material.
