I just got Adobe Premiere Elements and I'm working on my first video. The song I have, I copied from CD to the comp using windows media center. It plays fine. When I play it in Premiere it skips at one part of the song. I tried other songs on the CD and not all of them skip but some do.
Any one know whats goin on?
Need help with audio skipping in Premiere

Yes, it's a problem. And don't bother decompressing the files you ripped -- just re-rip the CD to uncompressed WAVs. Use something like NexENCODE Studio (rip only, don't convert to MP3).

i think maybe its time for you to upgrade your flashing sig image to include compressed audio.
VA: The problem here is that Premier is trying to do the decompressing for you on-the-fly and its skipping as it searches for audio frames. Do exactly what Scin said.
