16:9 Anamorphic Widescreen question

how do I get it to look like regular wide screen with letter box and all?
I want to keep the 16:9 aspect ratio but have the full screen be 4:3 NTSC. (hince the letter boxing) Plus what is the best way to process footage that's around 85-90% FILM. I'm talking about the anime Texhnlyze by the way.

sorry for the double post but I forgot to mention that for some reason when I ran the footage through DGIndex it seemed to convert my anamrphic footage into 720X480 4:3. How do I get more control over my footage. Or in other words and at the very least, what script should I write in order to keep tjhe aspect ratio of the footage and have it apear to be letter boxed in P. Pro?

Read the guide (link below) - particularly the page on dealing with aspect ratios.
