render time curious

Post by Medieval » Fri Feb 18, 2005 7:44 pm

Well first post, and I'm actually working on the first amv I've ever tried making.

I've edited in premier 5.1c (hey it all I've got, can't afford to get anyhting newer at the moment. :p )

Exported the footage out in uncompressed rgb and did post cleanup in vdubmod, doing a render now. using xvid second pass (first) with settngs suggestd in the avtech guide

I was just wondering what is a typical render time for everyone else is.

The clip is 3:18:05 in length.

You see, that depends entirely on your computer and what it can handle. Render times can vary from minutes to hours.
