Is there a way to rip the music from the lyrics..?

that prolly doesnt make sense..but is there a way (or a program) that can just give you..i guess an instrumental of a song without the ppl singing..?

The best way I know of is to split the L/R channels, invert one of them, and combine them to one mono channel. This kills anything that was placed full center, which is <i>usually</i> only the vocals, sometimes the bass as well.

But this only works on some songs.

So if you really want the best results, search around for karaoke CDs.

Basically any capable audio editing program can do it: Audition, SoundForge, Audacity...

I know Audacity has instructions for the process in the Help files.
