how do u change file types when there is no save option?

i need to change some file types to get them into windos movie maker but there is no save option do any of u know how this might be done

You might want to explain what you are trying to do in greater detail.... What program are you trying to use, what file type are you trying to go to, what is the video in question? Asking people to help you with a problem without explaining it in detail won't help you any.

Are you trying to convert video going INTO WMM or going OUT OF WMM?

They both require a save dialog, but in different areas.

ok hear we go im am trying to convert IFO , BUP and VOB for starters in to accept able file types for windos movie maker the ones that will work for windos movie maker is
.asf, .avi, .m1v, .mp2, .mp2v, .mpe, .mpeg, .mpg, .mpv2, .wm, and .wmv

thats what i need to do to get this to work thanks
