Half Speed Audio

Post by LightningCountX » Thu Oct 28, 2004 12:31 pm

I keep trying to set my video up for video streaming online with virtual dub. I set it for divx 500 kbps, with 96 kbps lame mp3 audio. Everytime i finish the export from vdub, the audio is at 50% speed. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks

make sure the sampling rate of the exported audio is the same as the sampling rate of the source audio

if you have 44.1 kHz source audio, you'll need to choose an export profile with a sampling rate of 44.1 kHz. if there's no other choice than to use 22.05 kHz, you could just speed up the audio in sound recorder then so that when you downsample to 22.05, the speed to return to regular (although this'll probably hurt quality.)
