Kenshin video clips
Anyone have a source for anime clips that don't need a bunch of codec no one can find?

i can split your question up into to seperate parts
1 - anime costs money to make money which feeds the families of people who make anime. piracy is illegal. its illegal because it amounts to stealing money from innocent people. and also, this site has a rule against being a tight ass.
2 - almost every piece of media on a computer uses a codec. all music, video and images all need some form of codec to be used. codecs arent hard to find. you can do a search on google and just about every link on the first page will contain a link to download most popular codecs.

So everyone that post clips on the internet is taking money away from needy families? Bullshit, if you get it off tv (Funimation) they are getting paid through ads. So every single person that has ever made an AMV here has bought the anime at what 12-16 dollars a DVD?
You must like being an ashole to people to see as new to this site, as if you feel threatened. Why pay, so I can spends hundreds to entertain your retarded ass? This site has done you favor by assuming you have something intelligent to say and allowing you to post, how much have you given?

In a manner of speaking, yes.odin_mage wrote:So everyone that post clips on the internet is taking money away from needy families?
Who here still captures their anime from TV? And besides, it's not the capturing, it's the posting online and allowing other people to get them without paying.odin_mage wrote:Bullshit, if you get it off tv (Funimation) they are getting paid through ads.
Geez... I wish DVDs were that cheap (retail)! And no, of course not... but the ones who don't generally don't talk about it because they know it's frowned upon. There's generally a "don't ask, don't tell" policy around here about things like DL'ed footage and bootleg DVDs.odin_mage wrote:So every single person that has ever made an AMV here has bought the anime at what 12-16 dollars a DVD?
Yes, he does. However, I don't feel Bum was out of line this time. If you'd read the Forum Rules, you'd have known that posting threads asking where to get clips like this is prohibited.odin_mage wrote:You must like being an ashole to people to see as new to this site, as if you feel threatened.
This is a HOBBY. If you're not entertaining yourself, then don't do it.odin_mage wrote:Why pay, so I can spends hundreds to entertain your retarded ass?
It's also not a cheap hobby. If you don't feel like spending hundreds on it, then don't. But if you go the route of downloads or bootlegs, DON'T tell us about it. We don't want to know.
