Film type color balancing plugins

Post by Jebadia » Sat Sep 11, 2004 8:11 pm

As the title mentioned, I'm wondering if there is any filters for Premiere (free or not) which can pre-adjust the color tones on a video picture. (for example the Matrix with the green tint, or 28 Days Later with the older more contrasty look, as well as the tint you often see in Jerry Brauchiemer (sp?) films)

I know there's one for Final Cut Pro, and the same one is comming out for other programs like After Effects and Vegas (not sure about Vegas) from when I saw it being demonstated on the ol' Tech TV channel. I'm curious if there is something similiar, if not basically the same for Premiere?

(thanks to whoever gave me this pic, I don't remember who it was)

But seriously, yeah, Premiere Pro's color correction and adjustment tools are really detailed and cover everything I can think of.

I've never used 6.x, so I wouldn't know.

Magic Bullet for Editors (Red Giant Software) $249

There's also a different version of this for After Effects ($800).
Magic Bullet was developed at The Orphanage by former Industrial Light & Magic visual effects artist Stu Maschwitz to provide digital video professionals the tools to transform the crisp, soap-opera look of video to the softer, more organic look of film.

Sorry, mis-typed the price: it's $299 for Final-cut and Premiere Pro users, $199 for Vegas users (promotion).
