Adobe premiere File location problems. PLEASE READ

I was wondering if anyone could help a guy in BIG TROUBLE. that would be me.
The other week I had to reformat a couple of my internal hard drives. both of the external ones were untouched and still contain all of my video material. However, I am facing somewhat of a dilima (and it's freakin the crap out of me) Ok, when I saved any of my projects on premier, I saved them to the external drive (Identified by the PC as Drive H) well, after refortmatting, now the pc identifies that same drive as G, and now the projects are trying to find the project materials (it's looking for H) well, I am able to re-allocate (i think thats the term) all of the psd, and image files... but when it comes to the avi files... Now, nothing should have changed... and infact, when I actually go to those files and try to play them through WMP, it's fine. PLEASE HELP, why is adobe premiere doing this, and what do I need to do?

I'm not sure what version of windows you have (I'm using Win2000 Pro) so this may not help you but:

Method One: (You need administrative rights to do this, which you should have if you set up the computer yourself)

You can change the drive letter by going to:

-Start -> Settings -> Control Panel
-Double click Administrative Tools
-Double click Computer Management and select Disk Management on the left hand side of the window that opens up.
-Right click on a drive. You should see an option to change a drive letter. Change it to what the drive used to be. (You may have to shift multiple drives around if another drive is currectly taking the desired drive letter.)

Method Two: (Requires a network connection to work as well as the desired drive letter needs to available. i.e. not already used by another harddrive.)
-Share your G: harddrive by right clicking it and setting it up for sharing.
-Go into My Network Connections and find the share.
-Right click it and select Map Network Drive. Set it up to use the desired drive letter.

WELL, That was kick ass dude, I was able to change the letters. THANK YOU SOO MUCH.
But for some reason I am still getting that error.
what else cause that kind of problem?

it's all good... apperantly, even though I was able to see the pieces of video material (the avi files) in windows media player, didn't really mean that I had the same codecs that I used to render them. MDbunny explained this to me. so then I went and downloaded the codecs, installed them, and now everything works great! :D
