Beta testers wanted for Lagarith

Post by Sir_Lagsalot » Tue Aug 10, 2004 11:28 pm

I've got a beta version of my Lagarith lossless codec up (http://lags.leetcode.net/lagarith2.zip) that has additional colorspaces supported. It now can compress RGB32, RGBA, YUY2 and YV12. I'd like for a few people to download it and let me know if they find any bugs in it. If you find an error, email me at brg0853@rit.edu or aim me at "sLr lagsalot". Please include with the error report the program involved, the colorspace being encoded to/from, video resolution, what type of processor you have, and the exact steps to reproduce the problem. One known issue is decoding YV12 video seems to kill AviSynth, however this doesn't provide enough information to track down the issue. One quick note: the codec will not downsample video, so RGB formats can only be decoded to other RGB formats, and YUY2 can only be decoded to YUY2 or RGB.
