winamp 5. colour is beautiful

Post by bum » Sat Jul 31, 2004 6:17 am

i know this may be a bit off topic but i just had to share it. some guy posted it at the pcpowerplay board (which no-one hear has ever heard off :P )

Start playing a song on WinAMP, Then start up the AVS plugin (right click on your winamp -> visualisation -> start plugin)
choose your favourite visualisation ( i recommend S Kupers - Spirit Realm, from the Winamp 5 picks)
Right click on it and choose "Dock in AVS editor"
Click Settings -> display
Click the check mark on Overlay mode and then click the "Color" box.
Select black.
Click OK.

It is pretty interesting to see the text and whatever else that is black on my screen to shimmer like that.

Especially with a vis I made a few months back.

Um... what? Winamp doesn't have adware in it. Winamp has been reliable (and very kickass) for years, now, even before Nulsoft was bought off by AOL and up to now with the freeform skins. And who cares about whether or not a program can play .rms? Not like anyone *listens* to RMs...

 i really wish people took the time to read my replies so they can understand my point. I know winamp has no adware i was talking about this...
"no need for real one! pos adware..." where do you get winamp from in that statement???

"Not like anyone *listens* to RMs..."
If you make an audio file in rm your as dumb as well i wont continue..

Conclusion... I hate winamp, you might like it but hey this is an opinionated forum, so there you have it.

Please at least have the decency to read my and others replies more thoroughly its quite annoying having to make sense of what already is

What's wrong with winamp? It does what it was designed to do, and does it well.

Um.... wha? Could you try again, this time using things like coherent grammar? I think I was able to make sense of about half of that.
