anyone know where to get one of those circles with the numbers in them thats in black and white you know its like a radar thingie or a clock counting down that goes
4
3
2
then it goes black and then shows the movie/video/premiere and they usually use them at award shows or stuff (at least in the cartoons and movies anyways)

Adobe Premiere can do this... I think you have to go to File --> New --> Universal Counting Leader or something like that.

But why would you want to?

'Offical'? That's not offical, that's 'Duck And Cover: You're guide to nuclear safety' Copyright 1957. :|

If you want to have that modern studio stock look try a VTR style time index in the corner at the start. However, both idea's are sorta cheesy. Try making a short, not to simple, not to over done intro clip for your studio or name or what have you.

If the video is good, nobody cares about the intro.

Trust me.

Besides from using other people's footage that they took the time to get being amazingly lame, you're probably not going to find the game outside of e-bay.

I think actually, those countdown blips are in the content cd on the adobe disk. Part of the tutorials I think.

Either way, make your own, it's not all that hard. A couple of photoshop files, and one of the funky circular wipes.

Haha, I love those stupid announcements. It's always the same guy too, the one that sounds like the voice on the disneyland rides. DOD used to make some of the weirdest public service stuff, like news guys in t-shirts and sunglasses filming nuclear explosions, or how to plan a date, or why metal shop is a good career choice for young men intending to impress that special girl in home ec.
