'Jerky' video.

First. Please don't recommend EADFAG yet :roll:

When I play videos in 640x480 size, they tend to slow down 1 second, suddenly speed up two seconds, slow down, speed up. When it does this, it's physically impossible to tell where something is in the video, if it was a missed cut, a flash effect, etc.

Anyone know how to fix this? Codec problems?

(Player is Windows Media Player 9)
My AMV brings all the girls to the .org, and there like 'It's better then yours'. Damn right, it's better then yours, I could teach you, but I'd have to charge.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but is the acronym Read Ermac's And Destiny's Fag And Guide?

Anyways, I don't think it's a problem with the codec, but more a problem with RAM. When I have more then two program going, it's uber jerky. When I have just WMP going, it's okay.

How much RAM do you need to watch videos? I have 512.

Its your CPU most likely.
Try a media player that doesnt suck up so much resources, like Media Player Classic: http://sourceforge.net/project/showfile ... e_id=84358

It's "<b>R</b>ead <b>E</b>rmac and <b>A</b>bsolute <b>D</b>estiny's <b>F</b>riendly <b>A</b>MV <b>G</b>uide" (though when used with a link, it can also be taken to mean "<b>READ</b> this, you <B>FAG</b>").
